Welcome to Clyde School
Clyde School was established in 1863 at the height of the Otago Goldrush. The school has grown to a full primary school for around 150 Year 1 to 8 children.
We are located on a spacious site with established trees and modern teaching spaces on the banks of the Clutha Mata-au River.
We enjoy close links with our community and use our outstanding local environment to help make learning exciting and meaningful for our children.
Clyde School's motto is 'Learning for Life': Akoranga mo ake ake'. Our goal is to establish excellent foundation skills in literacy and numeracy and to empower each individual to be a connected, ambitious, respectful and enthusiastic member of our community.
